My week in photos – Project 365 – Week 2. Spaniel & Baby

My week in photos – Project 365 – Week 2. Spaniel & Baby

Week 2 of Project 365 and already disaster has struck!

I’ve been really disciplined and have tried to take a good photo each day, even lugging it to Baby R’s first party and getting some lovely captures of the birthday baby and Baby R however it was not meant to be as when I tried to transfer the photos onto my Mac they were nowhere to be found. This resulted in an evening of tense breath muttering and despite the goodwill of fellow Twitterers trying to offer advice and support my precious snaps were gone. I know they’re there some where,  but unless I can find some free Mac recovery software, they’ll remain forever hidden. I guess it’s the modern equivalent of opening the back of your camera and exposing the film to light. Fear not though, here’s the ones I had already transferred. Teenager has once again been camera-shy so Baby R is a feature of the week and as I spend most of my day just the 2 of us, I can imagine he’ll be a constant throughout the year.

Brothers, baby and tween

One last cuddle before I go to school. Tween is always happy to be photographed with his baby brother. My favourite thing in this photo is how they’re holding each other’s hands. I’m welling up just typing it. Baby R’s hand looks so tiny wrapped around his brother’s finger.

Baby play ideas

We have a crawler.  This week I’ve been trying to distract him while I cook by giving him some pots and spoons to play with, he homes straight in on the dog bowl as soon as he’s in the kitchen and I’ve caught him munching on the dog food a few times. Our home is like a house of horrors now he’s on the mov

Spaniel looking for squirrels

Looking for squirrels in Sidmouth. Our Sproker Spaniel is like an Ever Ready bunny, he never stops. We spend a lot of our weekends walking him and this snap was taken on our Sunday walk in Sidmouth where he loves to chase the squirrels.

Baby wearing http;//

Baby wearing husband. Hubby is always chief baby wearer when we;re out together, he comes over all Alpha male and likes to act protector of his youngest offspring. plus he doesn’t get on with pushing our Quinny as his feet kick the back of it.

Dribble baby!

Dribbly baby!  Baby R is teething and incredibly dribbly, this would have been a lovely photo is it wasn’t for the huge wet patch on his top.

Oh no, I hope you’re able to find your pictures, that’s so annoying. At least you managed to transfer a few lovely ones. I have teenagers and a baby too and always get loads of snaps of the little one, but my teenagers refuse to let me near them with my camera! x

LOL! Not just me then. I feel so guilty only showing my baby photos.

Your spaniel is gorgeous! Good luck with the crawling, I love that stage when they get mobile and realise life is a new adventure! Popped over from TWTW

Thank you, he’s a lovely dog. This crawling business is keeping me on my toes!

Oh no, I hope you manage to retrieve your photos.

    These ones are gorgeous.

My fella has the same problem with pushing our pushchair too so he prefers to baby wear when we’re out.

I always struggle to find a balance between my three, especially as the older two are in school its hard.
Gorgeous photos this week! Sorry you lost some I hope you will be able to get them back. My harddrive gave up on me and I lost 3 years of pictures – from when my eldest was a baby. I still hold out that I will get it fixed one day.

I hope that your photos are recovered soon. You have put some great ones here though. I absolutely love the one of your dog. I remember the days when my little ones started crawling and moving about more-loads of fun 🙂 #TWTWC #Porject365

Oh no sorry to hear about the photos- I had a similar thing recently when my memory card broke with photos of my daughter’s 4th birthday- I was so upset.
The other photos are gorgeous though- especially the first one. That’s so cute that they are holding hands! x

Oh no sorry to hear about your photos, thats so annoying. Something similar happened to me recently when my memory card broke with photos of my little girl’s 4th birthday on there.
The other photos are gorgeous though- that first one especially. I love the fact they are holding hands- so cute!
