After living in boots for the last few months I’m embracing the new season with a spring in my step (see what I did there?) I find the transition from winter to spring one of the hardest to dress for due to our unpredictable weather. I’m desperately trying to brighten up my style but not knowing if it’s going to rain, snow or be blazing hot sunshine means you can often get caught out.
I remember well the April in Cornwall where we had to dash to the shops for t-shirts and shorts due to a freak heat wave and the Easter where it snowed just as we stepped out to have lunch with family. For a semi organised person that’s just annoying.
So starting from the feet up I’ve put together some ideas for spring footwear to compliment and jazz up any outfit, whether you’re sticking to darker colours or going for a full spring pastel shake up. My absolute favourite in this collection has to be the Ash Virgin grey bis high tops. I love the muted grey, (my grey obsession is rapidly extending into my wardrobe!) plus being leather, they’re a little more hard wearing than my canvas high tops.
