Review for Tommy & Lottie- Fantastic little fox

I had a lovely surprise land on my doorstep.

I say surprise but I was expecting it, just not so soon. You know, snail mail and all that!
I’m trying to exercise some self discipline when I receive something in the post to review, especially when someone has taken the time to package something carefully but goes un noticed in the excitement to rip open the packaging and get out the microscope.
First impressions
The tell tale sign that this package was top banana were the detail stickers on the parcel, these little details didn’t go un noticed, so today I took my time.
Inside I wasn’t disappointed, I found a beautifully wrapped package that seemed a shame to unwrap, but that would just be silly!
The test drive
Being baby number 3, we are use to hand me downs so the quality of this t-shirt wasn’t lost on me. Tommy & Lottie clothes are organic, you can feel the quality, being 100 % soft cotton and not flimsy or thin material.
The print sits seamlessly, not plastic-y feeling and I love the bold design against the white  background there’s no backing to irritate baby’s skin. It doesn’t limit what I trousers or shorts I can accessorise with, baby R wore it with jeans & coloured combats. Plus the fox print is so fitting for an Autumn outfit. (I can see it fast becoming a staple wardrobe top.) there’s also a smaller print on the back. Another little detail that adds to the quality.
The neck poppers meant he didn’t object when I put it on. Which for a baby who usually protests at change times, this is a great sign!
And finally, It washed really well, I put this down to the luxuriously soft & thick cotton. There was no print run either.

The verdict
This Tommy & Lottie top would make a fantastic baby gift that any new parent would appreciate. It oozes quality and being British made & designed, it’s is a plus knowing it’s carbon footprint isn’t going to make a big dent in the environment.
At £20 for a tshirt, you’re not going to have a wardrobe full but equally, you won’t see lots of other children or babies wearing them, giving that unique edge. With the quality being so good, it would be a good investment if you have younger children.

Plus, arriving so beautifully wrapped is great as you don’t have to wrap it yourself!

* I received no money for this product review. Tommy & Lottie sent me a free t-shirt to test out with Baby R and these are my honest thoughts. If you would like me to review a product, please use the contact form on my blog. *
