A Quiet Devon Beach – My Sunday Photo

A Quiet Devon Beach – My Sunday Photo

I’m lucky enough to live by the sea. Despite spending my first 10 years living in the city, I don’t think I could ever live away from the coast now. Just being able to sit and look out onto the endless ocean anytime of the year is something I’ll never tire of and I’m sharing my local beach on a quiet winters day with you for this week’s Sunday Photo.

What a beautiful photo Ali, you’ve captured the light on the water perfectly. It’s given me goosebumps. x

Thanks Laura, I love it when the sea’s calm like this on a sunny winters day.

Stunning photo honey! I would love to live by the sea, it’s the ultimate dream for me 😉

Oh wow, that is quite the view – great picture! As someone who spent 18 years growing up in the back of nowhere, I couldn’t see myself moving back to that, I need a bit more interaction with civilisation – but the sea, that might be a good pulling factor!

It is lovely, there are days in Winter when I yearn for somewhere more sociable but then the busy summers take a lot of getting use to.

That is such a gorgeous photo – I grew up about as far from the sea as you can get on this island, and have lived in cities ever since, but I love being by the sea. My dream (one day!) is to have a cottage on the coast. Not sure it will ever be much more than a dream, but being able to wake up and look out to the waves, walk on the beach and fall asleep to the sound of the sea is just wonderful

It is lovely being on the coast, the summers and winters are equally fab.

Beautiful photo and so calm :). We use to live in Brighton so can relate to the preference of living by the sea. Although we still visit frequently xx

Thank you, that’s good you can still visit and appreciate the seaside in all it’s glory.

Ahh I live in Devon too, I’m a city girl at heart and I`ll always miss it but I do love being able to see the sea from my kitchen window every morning and only being a 3 minute walk from the beach 🙂 xx

It must be absolutely bliss waking up to an ocean view, thanks for the photo and making me so jealous.

I'd love to know what you think?
