My Vintage Captured Moment.

My Vintage Captured Moment.

This week’s vintage Captured Moment comes courtesy of my Mum’s cousin who shared it in honour of her mum, my Great Aunt Jess, for Mothers Day in the US.  Regular readers will be aware of my female dominant family and here’s the proof of where it all began (in my lifetime, anyway)  in a photo of my Grandmother and her 3 sisters.

Who herself went on to have 4 daughters.

So you can see where my bewilderment comes from as a mum of 3 boys!

Oh wow, that top photo is fab! I love old photos and hearing about the history behind them, so interesting 🙂 Re suddenly having 3 boys after a long line of girls, my partner’s family is like that but the other way- loads of men in the family, he is one of 3 boys, now he and his brothers have 5 girls between them (Freddie is the only boy!). Must be nature’s way of mixing things up! #mycapturedmoment

Aww!! That is a gorgeous picture, I love looking at pictures of my grand parents and seeing them as young people. Or I try to see if I can spot any similarities. This is a beautiful captured moment x

Isn’t it odd how these things happen? I totally assumed I’d have a girl and a boy because our family is very evenly split but it wasn’t to be and I now have two girls. That top picture of your grandma and her sisters is so cool. I hope you have a framed copy up in your house. Thank you so much for linking up to #MyCapturedMoment xx
