Living Arrows – rugby fever

This week’s living arrows photo is in celebration of the rugby world cup. With Welsh parents, it’s a prominent feature at the moment and fuelled even more by Daz watching every match he possibly can and Tween joining the local rugby club. As a 3 boy family balls tend to litter our garden (and living room, despite my no balls in the house rule) so it was no surprise that Toddler has soon taken to throwing the odd ball around.

While his throwing skills improve on a daily basis, our ducking and dodging skills do to. He’s not quite grabbed the idea of warning someone he’s ready for a game of catch so we’ve all been party to a ball in the face. This photo is a perfect example, being and mum and a blogger I never let an opportunity pass to take a photo which captures his loves and development. And while I got a few shots of him kicking and throwing, this is my favourite as it shows his cheeky personality to a tee.

And yes, I did get a ball in the face. But as the saying goes; No pain no gain.

I’m starting him young, he’s quite petite though so will need buffing up a little!
