“Play is our brain’s favorite way of learning.” -Diane Ackerman
This week’s Living Arrows photo is a capture of the toddler playing.
I’m starting to notice the toddler has an emerging interest in role play. For some time now he’s preferred to copy what I’m doing during the day and shows very little interest in toys. But as play is a child’s work and the method to which he works out so many things which go on in his daily life, I think its perfect that he’d rather experiment with making sounds which a teaspoon and empty cup in the same manner as the big people in the house stir their hot drinks.
It’s just the fact he wants to do it while dressed like an Indian which puzzles me more.
