Late Summer Fun On The Beach | Living Arrows

Late Summer Fun On The Beach | Living Arrows

So now the cat’s out of the bag, I’ve decided no more wallowing and it’s time to get on with the single parenting lark. So we packed up our bags and headed off to one of our local beaches to walk the dog and blow some cobwebs away. There’s nothing better than a bright sunny beach day in the September sun to really wake you up and help you recharge for the week ahead.

The toddler adores sandy beaches, and I mean ADORES! The squeals of excitement as he ran around looking for buckets and spades, swim gear (no dear, absolutely NO SWIMMING today) and stood by the door chanting “beach, beach. beach”

I didn’t actually realise how much he’d changed over the summer holidays. Not only has his hair grown but his speech is amazing. From previous work training I was aware that 2 year olds should be learning 8 new words a day but I’ve never seen it in practice. More so because I’m aware of it I know, but it still amazes me.

Nothing to worry about in that department, which is lovely as being a parent is 90% worry, I’m sure of it!

Loving this time of year for late summer fun on the beach here in Devon

This late summer is divine – I keep thinking everytime we get out in the sun after school is another bonus sunny memory! I remember that 8 words per day and yet like you still being so amazed watching them do it right in front of your eyes!

Beautiful pictures! I used to love going to the beach late august/september. It was still warm, but less people out there.

    Hi Ali,
    Nice to meet you.

Seems like you had a great fun on beach. The photographs looks fabulous and express many things which is not described here. They are looking so cute while playing near beach. Children have no much time to enjoy after going for school. But summer holiday recovers all things which they want to do in chill life. They leave nothing to have a fun.

I love sandy beaches too and playing with them is awesome since my childhood. I used to play from sand and mom used to busy capturing my photos while playing. When I remember my childhood day, I miss all great things which was funny for me now.

Thanks for sharing on late summer fun living.
    – Ravi.

They just seem like they grow so much don’t they? Troy is so much more grown up now that the summer has come to a close. I hope you’re ok xx

Lovely photos, such nice end-of-summer memories you’ve captured. My daughter is two and a half and amazes me with the words and expressions she comes out with at times! x #LivingArrows
