How to join a blog link up & promote your post

How to join a blog link up & promote your post

After trying to describe how to join a blog link up party to a new blogger (via text message!) I thought it would be much more useful if I put together a ‘how to’ visual guide for him. As it’d good to share here it is for any of you new bloggers out there wanting to send your blog post out into the blogging community and discover some new blogs at the same time.

A step by step guide to joining a blog link up and get your fabulous posts seen by lots of other bloggers by Mum in a nutshell

That is a great explanation, I remember when i first started looking at linky’s I had no clue, could have used this back then 🙂

Thank you, I was trying to explain how to do it to someone & thought this would be easier.

Love this. Nice easy guide and one that I could have used months ago. It’s something I really struggled to understand and I can’t really see why now. Thanks for doing this and linking up with us on the #bigfatlinky

This is a very simple and very understandable way of explaining it. I used to wonder then how blog links works when I was just starting. Your post is very helpful!
    Sending love from #WeekendBlogHop!

I tried to keep it as simple as possible. Would love to hear from other new bloggers if it helps.

Thank you, I just thought I’d better add that just to emphasise it, otherwise the whole point of a linky is pointless!

This was a complete ad hock post purely to help someone who’s new to blogging and asked my advice but I thought I’d share it anyway.

Oh this is brilliant – I really struggle to explain Linkys to friends so I’m going to be sending them here! 🙂 Mim @ #SundayStars

Thank you for this. I’ve been joining linkys for a couple of months and was very confused at the start. I think I now get it but I struggle to find them sometimes. Often, going to the blog, you click on the menu for linkys but it just brings up the description and not that week’s linky.
Anyone have tips to find linkys quickly and easily?

    • 10th March 2015 / 9:41 pm

I’m putting together a word document with clickable links that you can save on your laptop / tablet which will be ready soon and should help you. I have a diary letting me know which link runs on which day and I go to that blog on the day it opens so it’s on the homepage as the 1st post. I know what you mean though as it’s hard finding them sometimes. I’ll get my linky post finished by next week if that helps.
