Win a Feet Pamper Set From Oleo Bodycare

Win a Feet Pamper Set From Oleo Bodycare

I’ve always been a little aware of  the powers of aromatherapy, from the calming effects of lavender to the antiseptic properties of tea tree. Both were my post birth recovery saviours and I swear helped speed up the healing process as I sprinkled a few drops in my bath each night.

But I’ve never really ventured beyond my two go-to oils, until I was introduced to Oleo Bodycare; a range of hand blended natural products contain pure essential oils and produced in my neighbouring county Dorset. Professional aromatherapist, Olivia Chapman, started her range selling from a market stall in Bridport market and creating lotions and essential oil blends for her massage business where word spread quite quickly on the quality of her products.

Setting up a website  was the next step. A request from holidaying customers who found Olivia at her market stall then getting home contacted her for repeat orders. The multi award-winning natural body care range sells everything from face creams, body lotions, soaps and my own personal favourite, a rich moisturising hand cream, to pure essential oil  diffusers and candles.

I’ve been enthusiastically sharing my hand cream to any one within sniffing distance who is seduced by the amazing aromas of frankincense and geranium. As well as moisturising, it’s the perfect tonic to the pompholyx eczema which I’m prone too when my hands come in contact with cleaning products.

And I’m not the only one feeling the Oleo effect. My teenage son is a fan of the aftershave balm, it’s much kinder to his acne prone skin and it doesn’t irritate his face while soothes the post shave feeling. With the added manly scent it’s so nice to see him leave the house without a trail of Lynx deodorant and is a much nicer, natural smell.

With Oleo championing the reality of the effects chemicals have on our skin,

Sixty per cent of what you put on your skin ends up in your blood stream. That is why at Oleo Bodycare we are just as concerned as to what does not go into our products. As nature provides an abundance of safe, therapeutic ingredients, we see no reason to use anything synthetic or potentially harmful.
