10 things you didn’t know about me!

10 things you didn’t know about me!

I was tagged by  Educating Roversi  to complete “10 Things you didn’t know about me” These posts are always fun so I thought I’d give it a go!

The Rules:

  1. Link back to the blogger who nominated you & answer her ten questions.
  2. Add the badge to your post.
  3. Write your own ten questions & tag ten bloggers to do the same.

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Crab prawn and avocado, love it and no guilt. I may turn a little green after a while though but I’d have amazing skin, hair & nails. A little bit like Grotbags I Spose!
Which character from ‘Friends’ are you most alike and why?

Monica, I’m a little, teeny weeny bit OCD with tidying up and may or may not like to ‘boss’ my boys and husband around.

What was your favourite subject at school and why?

Art, I loved not having the restriction and being able to do my own thing. I went to a grammar school and classes weren’t very fun or engaging. my memories are of sitting in classrooms listening, and listening and listening some more. And just being quite bored really.

What did you want to be when you grew up?

Bigger, no really, I wanted to be a swimming teacher, I loved swimming, even the smell of chlorine when you walk into a swimming pool makes my tummy flip.

What is your blogging “Top Tip”?

Keep some posts in draft for when you have off days

When you have thirty minutes to relax, what do you do?

I love a long hot bubble bath, preferably with something from Lush or The Body Shop and about 30 minutes is the absolute maximum time I can grab before the toddler realises where I am or someone needs a poo and the downstairs loo is conveniently unavailable!

Where is your favourite place to go in the world?

I love Cornwall, the scenery’s stunning and the pace of life is so laid back, my very close next favourite is Florida – BEST HOLIDAY EVER! Can I have two? Please?

What is your favourite item of clothing?

This month I will be mostly wearing …. my green striped Seasalt jumper. I’m a short-term faithful when it comes to favourite items of clothing. I wear it continuously until I’m so bored with it, I can’t bear to see it again and then give it to my sister. only to see how good it looks on her and want it back again.

If you could be one celebrity for a day, who would you be?

I’d like to be Angelina Jolie just for the simple reason of being very close to Brad Pitt. I’d like to say it’s so I could experience some of her world peace efforts or charity work but I’d be lying. I just want to be within sniffing distance of Brad!

Who is your favourite Disney character?

T-i-gg-er. Tigger! He makes me smile just thinking about him!

I nominate the following bloggers

Mum in a Nutshell

And here’s your 10 questions;

What would be the first thing you’d buy if you won the lottery?

what’s your happiest memory?

What was the last good deed you did?

Who’s your favourite musician?

What one thing (not person!) could you not live without?

which celebrity irritates you the most?

What’s you favourite social media platform?

How did you choose your blog name?

Do you have a superstition?

Christmas or birthdays, which do you prefer?

Great answers! I love how you want to be within sniffing distance of Brad Pitt , that made me chuckle! Amazing how much you love swimming pools x #bigfatlinky

I think the swimming pool thing is just a childhood moment flooding back. They says smells can do that, the smell of Aqua de gio perfume reminds me of a boyfriend who cheated on me, I hate it!

I love Seasalt too, you are obviously a woman of excellent taste! Really interesting post, it’s always great to find out more about the person behind the blog #bigfatlinky

Lol! I always think it’s just a West Country brand that no one else has heard of, it’s amazing how popular it actually is.

I do love a bit of seasalt. I also like that they’re just about a cm more generous than other brands, so I feel fabulous!! 🙂

PS……. Angelina Jolie… read my mind!

    • 6th September 2015 / 1:48 pm

That’s so true, I never mind the labels hanging out of my seasalt clothes!

  6. 6th September 2015 / 8:11 am

I love Cornwall, I’m also v Monica and I think I’d appreciate sniffing Brad Pitt too lol! Thanks for sharing, I’m off to look at the rest of your blog 🙂

I have been craving that ever since writing it! (crab and prawn, not Brad)

  8. 7th September 2015 / 8:15 pm

I ALWAYS mean to keep some blog posts in the reserve folder, but somehow it just never happens (perhaps that means I’m more Phoebe than Monica 🙂

It’s always good to have a couple of ‘just in cases’

  9. 8th September 2015 / 10:47 pm

I loved art in school too. There was only three of us in my GCSE class so the teacher pretty much just left us too it lol. Thanks for linking up with #sundaystars x
