I am emailing from The Soapbox Children’s Theatre which is based in Devonport Park, Plymouth. We run drama workshops and performances for children, by our resident artists, Stiltskin. Just recently we have performed “Igloo” to children from birth to 8 years. We have also tackled Macbeth – making it accessible and easy to understand for children.

When children come to The Soapbox it is often their first time seeing live theatre. We create a relaxed atmosphere and only have small audiences and seating is on cushions – after the performance the bubble machine and music comes on and children have the opportunity to meet the performers and puppets.

In March, Stiltskin will be preforming The Town Mouse and The Country Mouse – a tale about their adventures together in the city. The story comes to life with playful humour, puppetry, music and clog dancing!

My email is to invite you and your family to our VIP performance on Friday 10th March at 6.30pm, here at The Soapbox Children’s Theatre Devonport Park. We would be grateful if you could then review the performance on your blog, which will in turn encourage people from the area to attend.

We are a Community Interest Company, and rely on people coming to our theatre to keep it going and here for the local community and their families. Just recently we have had a successful Crowd Funder that has raised £8,000 for a new accessible entrance.

To find out more about us please go to http://www.stiltskin.org.uk

We do hope that you and your family will be able to attend.

I look forward to hearing from you.

    Regards

    Diane Flynn

I'd love to know what you think?
