With a super hero loving husband and 2 sons (not sure which path the toddler will follow but I suspect it will be the same) I have unwittingly acquired a little knowledge on the who’s who in the fight against evil. To the extent that when pregnant with my last baby, I agreed on naming it Ivy, after Batman’s Poison Ivy, should it be a girl. It’s amazing the power of persuasion when you are preoccupied with heart burn, indigestion and swollen ankles.
So it seems only fitting that I checked out and shared with you the latest offering DC has in the form of DC Super Hero Girls. I’m not sure whether the husband will admit to tuning in, maybe for the sole purpose to see if it’s suitable for his youngest who should be about ready to embrace his passion. (not that he’s reliving his youth for his children at all or anything.0
But if your kids are looking for action-packed girl power, then this one’s for you. DC Entertainment’s latest animated series features a dynamic group of Super heros on their journey of discovering the power of their unique abilities and friendships. What I love is how dynamic the characters are, from strong and fearless to edgy and fun; there is a character for everyone.”
The DC Super Hero Girls YouTube channel makes it easy for our kids to watch their favorite characters, on-demand, and from any device.
For even more fun for your readers, there is an extended online experience on the website where kids can play games, download free printable activities, and more.
