When does a baby become a toddler?

When does a baby become a toddler?

This photo was taken on a trip to our local tourist attraction where Baby had his 1st play date and his first walk round the park. At 11 months, he’s still very much a baby to me and as my last, he always will be, but now he’s walking and very rarely crawls, I was wondering at which age babies become toddlers?  or Is it linked to age at all?

As the word suggests, toddler means they’re toddling, so surely it’s linked to ability? If truth be told, I’d prefer to stick with baby, for another 6 months at least.

this week's image of the week is from a visit to the park on a first play date

Aw that photo is ridiculously cute but eek he’s definitely looking more grown up! Scary how fast it goes!

Everything seems to be happening so quick. Where’s my little bundle of sleepy boob monster gone!

I know that feeling. I’m still trying to get away with my three year old being my toddler and my 15 month old as my baby.
Time goes by so fast I just want to cling to it for as long as I can x

Yes, I think so too. He’ll always be the baby of the family so not rushing into using the toddler word too soon!

I'd love to know what you think?
