My Sunday Photo – Toddlers kitchen

This week’s Sunday photo was taken during a play session where Toddler had a chance to copy the everyday things he’s seen the rest of the house hold doing. I loved watching the concentration on his face and the excitement at having a kitchen all to himself, one where there wasn’t an adult 2 steps behind him going “no! don’t touch that!”

It was also amazing to see his play step up a notch, to us he was just opening and shutting doors, to him it was a whole lesson in physical, mathematical and scientific development.

We're on to the next phase of play! It's amazing seeing my toddler engaging in role play which he's observed the rest of the house doing, its just the every day tasks to us but to him it's learning at how to do life

Someone is hard at work! I love these play kitchens. It’s on our Christmas list for Evie. It’s so lovely just watching them play rule free isn’t it and using their own imagination develop. xx #mysundayphoto
