Living Arrows – Toddler’s new wellies

Living Arrows – Toddler’s new wellies

We had some really rubbish rainy days last week and many moons ago I would’ve taken the opportunity for a lazy jarmy day as they’re known in my house. However, we have a 4 legged member of the family who needs to go out what ever the weather so we have no choice but to don on our waterproofs and go outside.

Not that I’m particularly bothered, if I’m honest I like getting out in the fresh air and often find that the boys are climbing the walls by 6pm of we don’t. This goes double for the Toddler, he’s such an outdoorsy boy so I’ve kitted him out in full wet weather gear so he can join us on our puddle jumping adventures rather than watch from the safety of his buggy.
rain didn't stop play for this toddler

I’m one of these weirdos that actually prefers rubbish weather; I can’t be doing with summer! Gwenn loves nothing more than wearing her puddlesuit and going wild, so we’re well suited.

I’ve always had dogs in the family but never my own as an adult. My mum got a new puppy this weekend and my husband – who has never had a dog full stop – is smitten and really wants one. I’m not against the idea necessarily and I do think – like you said in your post – come rain or shine you just have to take the dog out and that’s a really good thing. x

To be honest I’ve never been been fitter since having a dog, we love long walks at the weekend and its just not the same going without him.

We love the rain. 😀 But what I can’t seem to find is ‘not breaking the bank’ rain attire for the kids. Any suggestions? I see little person is wearing a full suit, I would love that! 😀

I *almost* wish I had a dog as it would MAKE me go outside on rainy days!!! I’m not a fan of the wet and cold but the boys absolutely LOVE the opportunity to jump in puddles! 🙂 Thanks so much for linking up with #TwinklyTuesday — hope to see you again next week! x

It does take the decision to stay in away although I do miss the days of staying in pj’s when it’s chucking it down.

We also have dogs and it can be a bit of a pain sometimes trudging through the wind and rain to walk them, but I have the same thing that we ALL need it and if we don’t walk my son starts climbing the walls!

The thought of it is harder than atcually doing it though isn’t it.

I'd love to know what you think?
