Jazz Up Your Kid’s Lunch & Win A Lunch Punch Sandwich Cutter!

Crikey kids lunches are so much more fun than when I was a child!

It’s a standing joke that my siblings and I grew up on a staple diet of luncheon meat, white bread sandwiches, a penguin bar and a packet of ready salted crisps.  It’s no wonder I won’t touch any of those foods these days (is luncheon meat even real food? Answers on a postcard please,)

Mentally scared by the processed lunchbox which saw me through my primary years, most of which ended up thrown over a hedge as my sister & I aimed for a pond on the walk home (sorry mum!) I have tried with my own kiddie winks introducing a more varied diet at lunch times.

But thats actually a lot harder than you think. The competition is fierce, being a working mum it was easy to fall back on the things which you knew your kids would eat, without risking a showdown in the school dinner hall. Plus my imagination falters under stress and bad time management.

I've found a way to jazz up my toddlers packed lunches with a sandwich press that creates his favourite vehicles from lunch punch

Not any more though.

This week we’ve been creative in the kitchen using sandwich cutters by Lunch Punch. We have the Vrooom set; a lorry, a car, an aeroplane and a train, which shape his sandwiches according to what ever mode of transport he fancies. And little tip I’ve always found works with fussy eaters is to involve them in the making process of packed lunch, that way they’re more likely to eat it.

This works really well with my boy  as he gets to choose which ‘vehicle’ he wants.Although a little annoying when he’s in one of his hereditary indecisive moods.

As well as the Vroom set, you can get sporty, sweet, sand wishes, critter cutters and mix and munch. So if one of those floats your boat why not enter the giveaway below for a chance to win your own set?

I’d choose the life planner as my son starts primary school in September and has already asked if he can join the football club and the film club, got a feeling I’m going to forget something ????
