How clean is your home? A Dettol Giveaway

How clean is your home? A Dettol Giveaway

As a mum of 3 boys  I’m constantly tidying and cleaning our home. Thats not to say life is any different for a mum of girls, it’s just in my experience, boys tend to spread themselves around more. We have skateboards being dismantled on any available surface, the kitchen is often raided after I’ve cleaned up for the day and don’t get me started on the bathroom. I swear there’s a secret male game going on which I’ve been excluded from involving toilets and target practice.

So imagine my delight when an offer for cleaning products lands on my lap; the sound of angels  singing in my ear pretty much sums it up. (I once admitting to liking the smell of a new bathroom cleaner and have been the but of a few ‘mum’ jokes ever since, if that explains my reasoning a little better) But in all honesty, I’m an undiagnosed clean freak to which I fully admit and often drive the Hubster mad when I start to clean each time we leave the house.

That said….it’s not easy maintaining a good routine with a baby / toddler (still haven’t decided where Baby R fits) in the house. So the little bundle of Dettol products I’ve been sent SHOULD help calm my cleaning nerves a little.

Keeping the family home clean

My bundle consisted of items for the kitchen and bathroom;

The no touch Dettol hand wash was an immediate hit. The boys love gadgets and I’m quite strict about hand washing before meals, but I was delighted to see them going straight to the sink to ‘play’ with the new soap dispenser. In fact I don’t think I’ve seen them wash their hands so much. It works with a sensor and dispenses just enough so this is now my must-have cleaning product for our family. Even Baby R thought it was good fun. Who’d have thought you could get so much amusement out of a bottle of hand wash!

The Power and Pure bathroom wipes appealed as my plan is for the boys to clean up their own bathroom sprinkles and as they aren’t loaded with skin irritating chemicals theres no excuses!

I’ve been using the Surface cleaner for Baby R’s high chair and the wooden work tops in the kitchen. I can;t use anything too strong on either of these so this is perfect for quick wipe downs.

Any finally the kitchen cleaner is my sink, oven, fridge and anything else which is in need of a good scrub saviour.

So if that’s tempted you here’s your chance to win a Dettol cleaning bundle of your own, enter below and a winner will be selected at random. Good luck!

    I have 4 boys so you can imagine the appreciation i’d have for this prize! lol. The ‘toilet’ comment made me laugh! I’m wondering …Do they remember to flush or does your loo chain always appear ‘broken’ when anyone other than yourself uses it???

I'd love to know what you think?
