So, you’re making a list and checking it twice but aside from the pigs in blankets and cranberry sauce there’s one little extra I’d like you to consider popping on there; some kitchen towels.
“Why?” you might add. Well, I’ll tell you why. In fact I’ll tell you a couple of why’s it’s be added on to my list;
Who wants to be doing extra housework anyway?
That’s right, you’ve slogged your guts out all year and the pre Christmas run is crazy, crazy, crazy busy so come Christmas day and the following few days afterwards you need to be making your life as simple as possible and if that means cutting down on the chores so be it, and by chores I’m talking specifically about washing. If you add some Plenty kitchen towels onto your list then each time there’s a spillage you can mop up and dump rather than use tea towels. Which leads me seamlessly onto my next why;
There will be more spillages, just don’t fret about it.
Late nights, extra food, guests, excited children, too much mulled wine, all the norm for this time of year. There will be spillages and rather than swear, panic and use more tea towels/towels/least favourite family member’s nearest item of clothing grab the kitchen towels to soak it up and hey presto, back to your game of Charades
You get to shout out “Juan Sheet” and impress everyone with your utterly amazing Spanish accent each time there’s an accident.
Even better, while your out shopping for your Plenty kitchen towels, get your self a cape and feathered hat to really get into character. If you can’t raise and smile and be silly at Christmas when can you?
And to lift the spirits and really get you in the festive mood then Plenty are running a #12daysofPlenty competition over on Facebook where you can win a prize a day. Best of luck!
