My crawling baby’s a wrecking ball.

My crawling baby’s a wrecking ball.

It’s amazing how quickly your baby goes from taking their 1st movements and desperate attempts to reach out to nearby toys to speeding around at lightening place. Baby R took his initial jerky crawling attempts on Boxing Day to the disbelief and wonder of my sister and I to pulling himself up and trying to climb the stairs in 5 weeks. I love that he’s moving independently as he gets less frustrated and his personality is really starting to shine through  Not only is he a cheeky and inquisitive chappie, he’s also a thrill seeker and persistent offender. Here he is checking out the damage on his latest wrecking ball mission.

And seeing if he’s got away with it!

Crawling baby mum in a nutshell

I definitely do not miss that stage, cannot turn your back for 2 seconds and they’ve caused havoc! He does look adorably innocent though 🙂

Fantastic! I bet he’s loving it! My nephew has earned himself the nickname The Ethanator because of his trail of destruction! Thanks for linking up with the #WeekendBlogHop!

I still can’t get my head around the speed in which our babies grow and develop. My Elsie is attempting stairs already, but as you said they are suddenly a lot less frustrated and sadly more independent. Time for another… ?
